The third grade students in Mrs. Looney’s math class showed an average increase of 1.3 grade levels with only 6 hours and 32 minutes of average time on task in the Academy of Math.
38% of students pre-tested at the Below Basic level, and at the time of the post-test, there were NO students at Below Basic. In addition, a high percentage of students moved into higher levels of performance. NO students were in the Advanced category on the pre-test, but 31% of the students moved into the Advanced category on the post-test. These same gains were evidenced by the STAR assessments as well. |
